A trial date has been set for the former executive director of Crossroads Crisis Center. The Lima News reported that 66 year old Emily Wrencher is accused of stealing around $7500 from the non profit organization allegedly by using the agency's credit card for personal use. A city-wide Boil Water Advisory is in effect for Kenton. Water was turned off last night so crews could replace a water valve in the area of Marie and High Streets due to failure. The city-wide Boil Water Advisory is in effect until further notice.
A Kenton woman was arrested and is facing several charges following an incident reported to Kenton Police Monday evening. According to the report, officers were dispatched to a house on North Barron Street on a report of an intoxicated female leaving the residence. Following an investigation, officers arrested 39 year old Angela LeVan. She has been charged with felonious assault and for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
A Lima man is facing several charges after being arrested by Kenton police Monday night. According to the report, officers responded to the 200 block of South Leighton Street in reference to a man that was getting into a car that didn't belong to him. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Leighton Street to investigate the crime in progress.
