Richwood Woman Charged with Liquor Sale Violation

A Richwood woman was charged with a liquor violation in Union County Thursday.   According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, deputies and agents from the Ohio Investigative Unit witnessed the sale of alcohol to an underage person.   The alleged incident occurred in the 23,000 block of State Route 4.   58 year old Gina M. Tripp was issued a citation for the sale of alcohol to an underage person.

Two Area Men Facing Drug Charges

Two area men are facing drug charges following an incident Thursday evening.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, an officer on patrol witnessed what appeared to be a hand to hand drug transaction between two males on South Wayne Street near Decatur Street.   A 52 year old Forest man and a 50 year old Kenton man were listed as the suspects.   Officers seized 6 white round pills as evidence.   The two have not yet been […]

Lima Man Arrested in Kenton on Warrant

A Lima man was arrested in Kenton Thursday on a warrant Thursday morning.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an officers observed 38 year old Jeffery England walking through a parking lot in the 200 block of East Carrol Street.   The officer confirmed that there was a warrant for his arrest out of the Allen County Municipal Court.   England was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County line where he was turned […]

Two Kenton Men Charged with Theft

Two men were charged following a shoplifting incident at Walmart in Kenton late Thursday afternoon.   According to the report, officers were dispatched to the store just after 5 to reference to the theft.   The two suspects are alleged to have stolen two cell phone cases and cell phone screens.   19 year old Cody Wilson and 22 year old Kale Mohn, both of Kenton, were each issued a summons for theft.

Crash Reported on Columbus Street Thursday

A minor crash occurred in the 200 block of East Columbus Street Thursday afternoon.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, a vehicle driven by 67 year old Geoffrey Wedding, of Raymond, Ohio, was stopped for traffic on Columbus when it was struck from behind by a car being driven by 35 year old Amanda Smith, of Kenton.   Minor damage occurred to the vehicles, and there were no injuries.   No citations were listed on the report.
