Kenton Man Charged with Criminal Trespassing

A Kenton man was issued a summons for criminal trespassing following an incident at Burger King in Kenton.   According to the report, an officer was dispatched to the restaurant in reference to an unwanted person.   After an investigation, 47 year old Jeffrey Mayer was issued the summons for failing to leave the restaurant after being told to by the staff and management.

Woman Facing Charge of Endangering Children

A Kenton woman is facing a charge of endangering children.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were called to the 100 block of Broadway Street in reference to a 5 year old child being left alone.   The 29 year old female suspect has not yet been charged as the incident remains under investigation.

Rash of Vehicle Break-ins Reported in Union County

The Union County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of vehicle break-ins that have occurred in Jerome and Millcreek Townships over the past five weeks.   According to a release, many of the vehicles involved were left unlocked with valuables stored inside.   The Sheriff's Office strongly encourages residents to remove all computers, cell phones, wallets, purses, firearms, gift cards, and anything else of value from your vehicles when they are parked outside.   Locking your vehicle is also highly […]

Odd Couple-Female Version at HN This Weekend

Hardin Northern students are giving a new twist to a classic Neil Simon comedy.   The Odd Couple-the Female Version will be presented this evening through this Saturday at the school.   All shows start at 7:00pm.   Unger and Madison are at it again, only this time it's Florence Unger and Olive Madison in this gender swapped version where the girls get to have all the fun.   Tickets are $7 adults and $5 students.
