Lima Man Convicted on Charges Connected to Death of 18 Month Old Boy

A Lima man was convicted on charges connected to the murder of an 18 month old child last year.   The Lima News reported that 32 year old Gabriel Salyers was found guilty of murder, three counts of endangering children, one count of domestic violence and one count of possession of drugs.   He was found not guilty on the most serious charge of aggravated murder.   The jury deliberated for five hours before returning with the verdicts.   Allen […]

President Trump in Lima Today

President Trump will be paying a visit to Lima today.   Hometown Stations received information from the White House Tuesday night that the president's plane will land at the Lima-Allen County Airport around 2 this afternoon.   He will then proceed to the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center for a tour of the facility followed by remarks to workers and supporters.   The exact route of the motorcade from the airport to the plant is not being released for security reasons. Toledo Woman Facing Drug Charge

A Toledo woman is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Kenton Tuesday morning.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers observed indicators of drug possession after they stopped the car for a traffic violation.   The vehicle was searched and possible ecstasy was seized.   The driver, 19 year old DeMarje McCalebb, was cited for possession of drugs as well as for driving under a license forfeiture suspension.
