Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Findlay

A Findlay man died after he was struck by a car while attempting to cross a road on the east side of Findlay this morning.   WFIN Radio reported that 62 year old Mark Hochstettler was walking across State Route 568 when he was struck by a car being driven by 28 year old Tyler Smith, of Vanlue.   Hochstettler was pronounced dead at the scene.   The accident remains under investigation by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.

Richwood Man Arrested on a Warrant

A Richwood man was arrested on a warrant Tuesday.   According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, a deputy met with an officer of the Richwood Police Department and took custody of 26 year old Rocky L. Howell on the outstanding arrest warrant.   Howell was then transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

Fiat Chrysler Voluntarily Recalling Over 860,000 Vehicles

WASHINGTON (March 13, 2019) — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has agreed to voluntarily recall 862,520 vehicles in the United States. Credit Card Fraud Reported to KPD

A Kenton woman reported fraudulent activity occurred on her credit card.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the woman told officers that her pin number was stolen, and the card was used to take over $200 from her account.   No suspects were listed, and the incident remains under investigation.

Two People Arrested on Warrants on Tuesday

Two people were arrested on warrants in Kenton during the on Tuesday.   According to the reports from the Kenton Police Department, 34 year old Ashley Wyomic was located at a residence in the 400 block of Smith Avenue Tuesday afternoon.   She was taken into custody without incident.   Later that afternoon, 37 year old Aaron McGrath was arrested on a bench warrant at his residence in the 200 block of Summit Street.

A Kenton was issued a summons for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop Tuesday evening.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers observed a man enter a residence that is known for drug activity.
