Patrol’s Effective Traffic Enforcement Yields Drug Arrests

Findlay- Troopers are trained to look beyond the initial traffic stop for possible indicators of criminal activity. In 2018 the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated a wide range of felony offenses and saw an increase in total drug arrests from 2017. Hardin County 4-H Holding Info Night

Hardin County 4-H is kicking off the 4-H Year with Info Night Tuesday evening in the Community Building at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.   The event will from 6:30 until 8 Tuesday evening.   Those attending will be able to discover 4-H projects, find a club to join, enjoy hands on activities and win door prizes.

Sprague to Attend DD Awareness Month Event in Columbus

March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, and to commemorate the start of this month long effort, Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague is joining advocates and fellow lawmakers at the Ohio Statehouse as part of the 2019 Developmental Disabilities Awareness and Advocacy Day.   Sprague will highlight the agency’s STABLE Account program and how the accounts can empower and improve the lives of Ohioans.   This will be held Tuesday morning at 10 at the the Ohio Statehouse Atrium.

Gas Prices Up Another 3 Cents to Start Week

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County continued to edge higher.   AAA reported the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas was $2.22 today, up 3 cents from last Monday's $2.19.   The cheapest price in the region is in Auglaize County at $2.20 a gallon.   The most expensive is in Marion County at $2.44 a gallon.   The statewide average is at $2.35 a gallon, and the nationwide average stands at […]

Noah Eikenbary places third at the OSHAA Division II District wrestling tournament. Eikenbary Kenton's 220 lbs wrestler set his goals high for the 2018-2019 wrestling season. Tiffin Man Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

A Tiffin man was arrested following a disturbance at Forest Court Apartments on Sunday.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the apartment complex in reference to a possible fight.   After an investigation, Carl Jordan III was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and open containers in a stationary motor vehicle.

Kenton Man Arrested Following Domestic Disturbance

A Kenton man was arrested following a domestic disturbance Sunday.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of Decatur Street to investigate the incident.   A suspect, identified as 37 year old Aaron McGrath, was arrested for domestic violence.   The victim suffered apparent minor injuries.
