Opioid Prescribing in Ohio Down 325 Million Doses in 2018

The number of prescription opioids dispensed to Ohioans declined for the sixth consecutive year in 2018, according to a newly released report from the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy’s Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System (OARRS). Minor Suspected of Raping Girl and Boy

A sex offense was reported to Kenton police over the weekend.   According to the report, a 5 year old Mt. Victory girl and a 7 year old boy from Rootstown, Ohio, were victims of a rape while at an address in the 300 block of North Detroit Street.   The incident was said to have occurred sometime since March 2 and was reported this past Saturday.   A 12 year old Kenton boy was listed as the suspect, but […]

Four Cited Following Weekend Disturbance

Four Kenton residents were cited following a disturbance Sunday afternoon.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Carroll Street to investigate a fight in the front yard.   Officers issued citations to: 42 year old Kenneth Johnson 38 year old Daniel Johnson 31 year old Ashley Hudson   43 year old Jonathan Steele. All were charged with disorderly conduct.

Unoccupied Building Damaged by Fire in Wyandot County

Gas Prices Jump 11 Cents from Last Monday
