COLUMBUS – Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers filed felony drug charges against a Michigan woman after a traffic stop in Wood County. During the traffic stop, troopers seized 500 grams of cocaine worth $17,750. On March 7, at 3:20 p.m., troopers stopped a rented 2019 Jeep Compass with Michigan registration for a speed violation on Interstate 75. Kenton City Council members heard from representatives of the Northwest Ohio Solid Waste District concerning the future of the Pay as You Throw trash collection program in Kenton. The results of a survey recently mailed to residents were discussed at last night's meeting. A Lima man was injured in a crash involving two semis in Wyandot County Monday morning. According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, a semi being operated by 50 year old Terry Routson drifted to the right while travelling north on U.S. 23.
