OSP Encourages Motorcyclists to Wear Proper Gear

The primary riding months for motorcycles fall inside what is considered the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer. That is the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In 2022, more than half of all crashes involving motorcycles occurred during that time period. The Ohio State Highway Patrol encourages motorcycle operators to wear the proper gear, including helmets and to have proper endorsement.

Ohio State Fair Underway in Columbus

The Ohio State Fair kicks off today in Columbus. Daily admission is $12 for adults and $10 for 6-12 year olds and seniors 60 and over. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Ride all day wristbands cost $35. The fair offers something for everyone, including music, rides, games and of course lots of food choices. The runs through August 6. Kenton Rotary Hears from Member of Dunkirk Garden Club
