Multiple notices were served Wednesday by Kenton Police Officers warning residents about high grass and junk on their properties. There was a total of 13 notices that were served throughout the city. Screenshot Residents who were warned about high grass were given 5 days to comply with the warning. Those who were served notices about junk were given 10 days to comply.

Average Gas Prices Spike Again

Another week, another sharp increase of average prices for a gallon of gasoline. According to AAA, https://gasprices.aaa.com/?state=OH, the average U.S. price is $4.54 a gallon today, which is an increase of 32 cents since last Wednesday. The Ohio average is $4.81 a gallon, an increase of 59 cents in one week. Hardin County’s average price per gallon is at $4.55 a gallon, a big increase from last week’s $4.07 a gallon. Races are set for this Fall after Tuesday’s Primary Election. On the Republican ballot for Hardin County Commissioner, Michael Kasler won in a landslide. He picked up 1442 votes. There were some anxious moments on the campus of Ohio Northern University in Ada Tuesday. At around 2:25 Tuesday afternoon, a bomb threat was received and the campus was evacuated, and students were sheltered at Ada High School.
