2026 Presidential Scholarship Granted

BLUFFTON, Ohio – David Rich, Brownsburg, Ind., has been awarded Bluffton University’s full-tuition Presidential Scholarship, valued at more than $156,000 over four years. A graduate of Brownsburg High School, Rich is active in extracurricular activities including club soccer. Rich attends Connection Pointe and is the son of Jason Rich and Donna Block. Average Gas Prices Continue Downward Trend

Average prices for a gallon of gasoline continues to decrease. According to AAA, the average U.S. price is $4.02 a gallon today, which is a decrease of eight cents since last Wednesday. The Ohio average is $3.78 a gallon, which is a couple of pennies cheaper than last week. Hardin County's average price per gallon is at $3.61 a gallon, seven cents lower than last week's $3.68. ONU Hosting Touch a Truck Event

A "Touch a Truck" event is being held at Ohio Northern University tomorrow evening. The hours are from 5 until 8pm Thursday on the campus in Ada. The Hardin County Sheriff's Office will be participating. A presentation on Anxiety in Childhood will take place at the Ada Library this evening. That will start at 7pm at 320 North Main Street in Ada. Those attending will learn about how anxiety can show up in childhood, the research behind it, and how to help your child manage daily anxieties.
