Amvets Post 1994 is holding a benefit hog roast on September 5. A meal will be served from 6 until 8 on that Saturday evening, and Nova Entertainment will run from 8 until 11pm. MARION – The Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Marion County tomorrow evening (Saturday August 15). A Harrod man escaped injuries in a one vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning on I75 in Allen County. According to the report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Wyatt Frueh lost control of his vehicle when a rear tire blew out while driving south on 75. United Way of Hardin County's 4th annual Bourbon Ball will be held October 17. It will start at 7 that evening at the Varsity Venue in Kenton. This year's theme is Black Flame Candle.
