Average Gas Prices Rise Sharply in One Week

After a couple of weeks of declines, average prices for a gallon of gasoline increased since last week. According to AAA, https://gasprices.aaa.com/?state=OH the average U.S. price is $4.22 a gallon today, which is an increase of twelve cents since last Wednesday. Cano to Become Next Bath Schools Superintendent

The Bath Local Schools Board of Education announced that Andrew Cano will be appointed as the district’s next superintendent. The hiring is expected to be made official at a special meeting on Monday April 27. The former Hardin Northern superintendent will succeed Mike Estes, who will be retiring on July 31. Hardin County Community Foundation Awards $426,000 in Grants and Scholarships

The Hardin County Community Foundation on Tuesday approved the awarding of $426,000 in grants and scholarships through its annual program. The Grant Committee reported there were 151 grant requests with 114 fully funded and 37 partially funded. The foundation plans to have grant checks in the mail to recipients by June 1.
