Kenton City Council Encouraged to Try Again for Charter City

Kenton City Council conducted its 11th Regular Session Monday evening. A push is underway to bring the charter government question back to the ballot, giving residents another chance to decide. Section of TR 205 Reopened

The Hardin County Engineer's Office announced a road opening. Township Road 205, between State Route 309 and County Road 120, reopened today. The road closed on April 27 for a bridge replacement project.

AAA: Average Gas Prices Decrease from Last Week

Average prices for a gallon of gasoline fell from last week. According to AAA, the average U.S. price is $4.42 a gallon today, a decrease of 13 cents from last Wednesday. The Ohio average is $4.51 a gallon, a decrease of 23 cents in one week. Hardin County’s average price per gallon is at $4.42 a gallon, a decrease of 13 cents from last week. Kenton Lions Completes Task of Placing Veterans’ Banners Around Kenton

Kenton Lions members completed four work sessions over two days to put up 390 veteran banners around the city. The Lions thanked veterans for their service. Hardin County Agricultural Society, 1879 Electric , and Grindell Masonry were also thanked for the use of their bucket trucks. County Receives Grant for Asbestos Removal/Remediation of Former Hardin Hills Building

Hardin County Board of Commissioners has a received a one million dollar grant to abate and remove more than 30,000 square feet and 30,000 linear feet of asbestos-containing materials from the former Hardin Hills Health facility at 1211 West Lima Street in Kenton.
