Section of Columbus Street in Kenton Slated to Temporarily Close May 1

Starting Thursday, May 1, Columbus Street, extending from Detroit to Main Street in Kenton, will be closed as crews will be installing new water and sewer lines as part of the downtown project. Kenton Man Found Not Guilty of Domestic Violence

A Kenton man was acquitted of a domestic violence charge Tuesday evening after a trial in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. 41-year-old Jason Broadstone was arrested on the charge in September of 2024 and was indicted on one count of domestic violence the following month. KES Students Create Encouraging Signs for HSX Crew

Some Kenton Elementary School students were tasked with creating signs designed to encourage the crew working on the downtown Kenton reconstruction project. The idea came about during a conversation between the Morning Buzz team's Chad and Jenny on WKTN. Third, fourth and fifth grade students in Mrs. Cox class came through in flying colors. **UDATE-Victims Identified** One Person Killed; Two Critically Injured in Crash on SR 309 Thursday Afternoon

One person was killed and two others seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in the 12,000 block of State Route 309 just west of Kenton. According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, the driver of a Chevy Impala, identified as 72-year-old Dennis Covault, of Harrod, died at the scene.
