Allen East Holding Military Appreciation Night on August 23

Allen East Athletics and Allen East Football are holding a Military Appreciation Night on August 23, 2024. Veterans and active-duty military will have free admission to the game. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and the ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m.  They are asking any veterans and active-duty military to register online and join them on the field in the pregame.

Ada Swimming Pool Season Ends Aug 10

The last day for the Ada Swimming Pool this season is this Saturday August 10. The pool will be open Saturday from 1 until 8pm as part of the F&M Picnic at War Memorial Park. The season is going out with a splash. It is a free swim day for those attending.

Ben Logan Announces Free Student Admission During Fall Sports Season

Benjamin Logan School District announced that for the 2024 Fall sports season, all K-12 Benjamin Logan students will receive free admission. Students in 6th grade and below must be accompanied by an adult. Instructions on how to redeem the student pass will be announced soon. 6th Grade Orientation Being Held at Riverdale

17-Year-Old Findlay Boy Killed in Early Morning Crash

A Findlay teenager was killed in a one vehicle crash that occurred at just before 1:30 this morning on Interstate 75 in the City of Findlay in Hancock County. OSP Update: Marion Man Dies from Injuries Suffered in Sunday Crash

An injury crash that occurred this past Sunday evening in Marion County has turned into a fatal crash. According to the release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 79-year-old James Wetzel was attempting to make a right turn from US 23 onto County Road 195 on his Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra motorcycle, when a semi being operated 40-year-old Abdulkhalif Warsame, of Gahanna, struck the motorcycle from behind.
