A pedestrian was killed this morning after being struck by a train in Findlay. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched at just after 6 this morning to the CSX railroad tracks between the 300 block of Clinton Street and the 300 block of West Main Cross Street to investigate the incident. Findlay's mayor has refuted a Facebook post suggesting Target has backed out of its plans to locate in Findlay. Mariann Woodruff Selected to Represent 4-H on Ohio State Fair Junior Fair Board

Photo: Ohio State University Extension- Hardin County A member of the Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H Club has been selected to represent 4-H on the Ohio State Fair Junior Fair Board.  Mariann Woodruff will help with many tasks across the state fair. Those tasks will include running livestock shows, serving as an assistant to Smokey the Bear, and running youth activities. Each year only two Ohio 4-H members are selected for this honor.
