Kenton Lions Completes Task of Placing Veterans’ Banners Around Kenton

Kenton Lions members completed four work sessions over two days to put up 390 veteran banners around the city. The Lions thanked veterans for their service. Hardin County Agricultural Society, 1879 Electric , and Grindell Masonry were also thanked for the use of their bucket trucks. RoadReady Ohio App Helps Teen Drivers Track Practice Hours

Ohio Traffic Safety Office's RoadReady Ohio mobile app is designed to help drivers with learner's permits and their parents or guardians log the required 50 hours of supervised driving time needed before taking the final driver's license test. It also scores each driving session in key areas like braking, acceleration, turning, and speed. Beer Garden Schedule Released for Summer Concert Series in Kenton

Kenton Historic Courthouse District The Beer Garden Schedule for the 2026 Summer Concert Series in Kenton has been released. The first one will be on June 13, and the last one is scheduled for September 5, all in downtown Kenton. A local non-profit organization will host the Beer Garden each night. Hardin County Humane Society Holding Pet Food Pantry Tomorrow

The Hardin County Humane Society is holding a Pet Food Pantry this Saturday, May 16. The hours will be from 10am until noon that day, and it is limited to Hardin County residents only. You must have a photo ID showing you are 18 years of age or older and provide proof of income documentation. First time visitors should allow extra time to complete and sign an application. The Humane Society is located at 13510 US 68 in Kenton.

OVI Checkpoints Planned in Allen, Hancock and Logan Counties Tonight

Locations for three OVI checkpoints in our region tonight have been announced by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
