Kenton Pool Now Set to Open on Saturday

Opening day for the Kenton Swimming Pool has been delayed by a day. After being forced to postpone opening due to low air and water temperatures over the Memorial Day weekend, the Kenton Swimming Pool was set to open for the season Friday, however the temperature of the water is still too low. Roll Over Crash Occurs in Kenton; No Information Released at this Time

No information has been released concerning an accident that occurred late Tuesday night in Kenton. Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser could only confirm that it was a roll over crash and involved two vehicles. The crash occurred on Detroit Street in the city. More information could be released later tonight or by Thursday morning.

Union County Sheriff’s Deputies Take Custody of Two Individuals on Warrants

Two people were taken into custody on outstanding warrants this past Memorial Day by deputies from the Union County Sheriff's Office. According to the Daily Media Release, a deputy met with a Richwood Police Officer and took custody of 35 year old Joseph A. Miller, of Richwood, on an outstanding warrant. Love INC Golf Scramble Taking Place June 26

The non-profit group Love INC will hold a golf scramble on Saturday June 26. The shotgun start will be at 9 that morning at Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton. The cost to enter includes green fees and cart rental, lunch and donation to Love in the Name of Christ. Team cash prizes include $400 for 1st place, $250 for second and $100 for third place.
