Dolly Parton Imagination Libray Holding Storytime Breakfast

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Hardin County is holding a storytime pancake breakfast on Saturday August 10.   The breakfast includes all you can eat pancakes along with sausage and a drink.   Tickets are available at any Hardin County Library.   The meal will be served from 9-11am August 10 at the Kenton Moose Lodge, 801 West Lima Street in Kenton.

Butter Sculpture Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing

The butter sculpture at this year's Ohio State Fair recognizes the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon. One of the sculptures is of Neil Armstrong, a native of Wapakoneta, as he salutes the American flag on the surface of the moon.   There is also a life sculpture of the three astronauts, Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Man Arrested Following Domestic Dispute in Findlay

A Findlay man was arrested following a domestic dispute in that city Monday evening.   According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were called to 212 East Edgar Avenue to investigate.   Upon arrival, a female was outside the residents and showed multiple signs of physical abuse.   She said the male suspect also made threats to kill her, and he could be armed.   The man refused to come out of the house. Woman Arrested on Bench Warrant

A Dunkirk woman was arrested in Kenton on a bench warrant.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers found 24 year old Kendra Chamberlain walking on Walnut Street near South Detroit Street.   The officer stopped and informed her about the warrant. She allegedly then immediately tried to hand her purse over to her boyfriend.   The purse was searched and is said to have contained a syringe containing a clear liquid.   Chamberlain was arrested, […]

Kenton Man Arrested on Probation Order

A Kenton man was arrested Monday on a probation order.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers found 34 year old Cecil Potter in the garage at his residence on King Street, and he was taken into custody without incident.   Potter was transported to the Mult-County Jail in Marion.

BBB Reminds Residents to be Aware of Scams

Marion Police MPACT Holding School Supply Event
