Ostrander Man Killed in Weekend Crash in Union County

A weekend crash in Union County claimed the life of an Ostrander man.   According to a release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred Saturday on U.S. 42 in Jerome Township.   The crash involved a sport utility vehicle that collided with a semi tractor trailer unit.   The driver of the sport utility vehicle, 53 year old Tony Autrey, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Union County Coroner.   The preliminary investigation revealed that […]

OSP Brings Awarness About Distracted Driving to Ohio State Fair

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is proud to partner with 10TV and the Maria Tiberi Foundation to bring awareness to distracted driving at the 2019 Ohio State Fair. PUCO & OSP Work to Ensure Trucks on Ohio Roads are Safe

The PUCO and the Ohio State Highway Patrol work together to ensure that commercial motor vehicles (CMV) are traveling safely throughout Ohio. PUCO inspectors regularly conduct safety inspections on CMVs; last year, inspectors conducted more than 86,000 safety checks. Each safety inspection follows a thorough process to make sure that the driver and CMV meet necessary state and federal regulations. Pursuit in Findlay Ends with a Crash

A pursuit ended in a crash early Sunday morning in Findlay.   According to a release from the Findlay Police department, officers attempted to stop a vehicle for several traffic violations in the 600 block of S. Main St.    The male driver refused to stop and led Officers on a 5 minute pursuit that covered nearly 3 miles.
