Two Streets to be Finished in Kenton on Thursday

Work will continue tomorrow to finish several street projects in Kenton.   According to a release from Safety Service Director Jim Hites, weather permitting, Bluffton Paving will finish paving Grape Street (between Franklin & Columbus) and N. Wayne Street (between Carrol & North) on Thursday, July 11th.     All vehicles must be moved by 7:30 tomorrow morning or they will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Alzheimer’s Association Holding Educational Program

Kenton, OH – The Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter will hold an educational program on Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia for families impacted by the disease. Walmart Reports Theft of Several Items

A theft at Walmart was reported to Kenton police on Tuesday.   According to the report, the store's Asset Protection Specialist called police to report that someone stole several items, including men's work boots and pants. The value of the missing items was listed at $185.   The incident is under investigation.

Eats on the Street 2019 Set for July 20

Eats on the Street is a little over a week away.   The event will be held Saturday July 20 from 4pm until 11pm in the Downtown Kenton Historical Courthouse District.   15 food trucks will be there as well as live bands, a kids zone and a whole lot more.   Family and friends are encouraged to save the date to attend Eats on the Street from 4-11 Saturday July 20.
