HN Cheerleaders Holding Car Wash & Bake Sale Fundraiser

The Hardin Northern cheerleaders will be having a car wash and bake sale on July 27.   It will be held from 9am-12pm at the Dunkirk EMS on Main St in Dunkirk.    Donations will be accepted for the car wash and all proceeds go towards cheerleading camp.    The public is encouraged to come support them and their efforts.

FDP Planning National Night Out

The Findlay Police Department is in the planning phases for Flag City National Night Out, which will be held on Tuesday, August 6th at Riverside Park.   One of their goals is to increase information tables so that citizens can hear more about the services that organizations offer.    Organization that serves Hancock County that would like to participate can contact Officer Brian White at bwhite@findlayohio.com.    There is no charge for this event.

Red Cross Facing Critical Blood Shortages

Hardin County DARE Golf Outing Fundraiser Scheduled August 24

The Annual Hardin County DARE Golf Outing Fundraiser been scheduled for Saturday August 24 at Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Kenton.   It will start with a Shotgun Start at 9 that morning.   The cost is $50 per person which includes 18 holes and lunch to follow.   The deadline to register is August 10. Drivers Escape Injury in Wyandot County Crash

Two drivers escaped injury in a crash that occurred Monday evening in Wyandot County.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, a car driven by 18 year old Masson Schoonover, of Bucyrus, went left of center while travelling north on State Highway 67. The car struck a southbound vehicle being operated by 56 year old David Zaring, of Forest.   Disabling damage occurred to Schoonover's vehicle, while light damage occurred to the Zaring vehicle.   Schoonover […]

Kenton Woman Arrested on Warrant

A woman was arrested on a warrant Monday afternoon at a residence in Kenton.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Robinson Avenue in reference to an unwanted guest.   Officers located 30 year old April Phillips who had an active warrant through the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.   Phillips was also allegedly in possession of 3 syringes, and is facing a citation for possession of drug abuse instruments.
