Kenton Downtown Revitalization Plan Informational Meeting Scheduled

An informational meeting to discuss the Kenton Downtown Revitalization Plan is scheduled for 4pm Monday June 10 in Veteran's Hall at the Hardin County Courthouse.   The Downtown Revitalization Plan prioritizes capital improvements in the downtown. Concert Acts Announced for 2019 Hardin County Fair

The country concert acts for the 2019 Hardin County Fair were announced today.   Country star Tyler Rich is the headline act. Rolling Stone magazine listed Rich among the top 10 new country artists of 2018.   His breakout single that year, "The Difference" crossed over 39 million streams and scored a number 1 on SiriusXM. Overdose Death of Union County Woman Underway

On May 17, 2019, Deputies with the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 8000 block of Rickard Road for an unresponsive female. The person was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner was called to the scene. The Union County Coroner’s Office investigators preliminary toxicology analysis indicated lethal amounts of Heroin and Metabolites found in the deceased female. Two Kenton Residents Facing Charges Following a Fight

Charges were filed against two people following a fight Thursday night.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Waterworks Drive to investigate the incident.   28 year old Jody Hayter was issued a summons for assault and obstructing official business, and 27 year old Brittney Joseph for assault.   Both suffered apparent minor injuries.

Aggravated Robbery Investigation Underway in Findlay

One Sentenced Recently in Common Pleas Court

One person was sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.   According to the document from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office:   32 year old Nicole D. Manns was placed on five years community control with conditions on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs.   The case was heard by Judge Scott Barrett.

Four Bands to Perform at 2019 Ballpark Bash in August

Organizers are gearing up for the second Ballpark Bash later this summer.   The event raises money for the Home Run Memorial Park and was a success in its inaugural year.   Four bands, some returning from last year, will perform August 17 at the ballpark. A new band, KISS tribute band Mr. Speed, was added to this year's lineup.   For more information, tune in Public Eye, Saturday morning at 7:35 and Sunday at noon on WKTN.
