A first degree felony charge was dropped after a St. Marys man accepted a plea deal in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court Monday. The Lima news reported that 24 year old Aaron Kanorr pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. In exchange for the guilty pleas, one count of rape was dismissed. The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in their office in the Hardin County Courthouse. At the meeting, the Board will reorganize, review the auditor’s report, approve minutes and pay bills. There will be no meeting March 14, 2019.
A Mt. Victory woman reported that her purse was stolen while she was in Kenton Sunday evening. According to the Kenton Police Department report, the woman told officers that she was the Dollar Tree at the time of the theft. Numerous personal items, including checks and multiple identification cards and documents were in the purse. The incident is under investigation.
