Village of Ada Shares Update on Pool Opening

Village of Ada officials released an update on the Ada Pool opening. They noted that if all goes well, the last step of the pool project will be completed next week. There will be a 72 hour wait after the work is completed before they can begin filling the pool, and the anticipated opening day is May 30. Updates will be posted on the Village of Ada and the Village of Ada Pool and Concessions Facebook pages.

Kenton Seniors Receive More Than $301,000 in Scholarships at 2026 Awards Ceremony

KHS Senior Jaycob Francis receiving the Max Montgomery Memorial Scholarship It was another big year at the Kenton High School Senior Awards Day Ceremony. R.E. and Joan Allen Foundation Scholarships totaled $73,000 and were awarded to 44 seniors. The Local Scholarships total, including scholarships with separate applications, was $54,375 given to seniors. One Vehicle Overturns in Tuesday Evening Crash Near Ada

A two-vehicle rollover crash occurred Tuesday evening on State Route 81 at State Route 15 near Ada. Complete details from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office have not been released at this time. The crash occurred at just before 5:20pm, and one of the vehicles involved ended up rolling over and came to rest on its top. A spokesperson at the Sheriff's Office did say that those injured were treated at the scene and no one was transported to the hospital.

Details on a search warrant that was served on Saturday, May 2nd, at a home on Midway Avenue in Lakeview was released on Monday. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Logan County Unified Drug Task Force, and the Washington Township Police Department participated in serving the warrant. Northern Hardin County Fire District to Host Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday

Northern Hardin County Fire District The Northern Hardin County Fire District will host an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, May 16. The fundraiser will take place from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the fire station, located at 201 North Main Street in Dunkirk. The monthly brreakfasts are held every 3rd Saturday of the month. Free will donations will also be accepted.
