Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports
Hardin Northern Local School District The 2026 Hardin Northern Polar Bear Legacy Golf Outing occurred this past Saturday. 19 teams participated in the outing. Team Halsey came in first place, and Team Cook came in second place. Hardin Northern thanked all the hole sponsors, as well as Graze On for lunch, and Kenton Memorial Golf Course for hosting the event.
Kenton City Schools Kenton High School cheerleaders will be hosting their annual mini cheer camp for students Kindergarten-6th grade on August 18 and August 19. It will take place from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on the lawn of the Kenton City Schools Central Office, which is the old High School, located at 200 Harding Avenue. Kenton Police Department Local first responders will be participating in a Beat the Heat swim meet tomorrow evening at the Kenton Swimming Pool. The Kenton Police Department, Kenton Fire Department, and the Hardin County Sheriff's Office will take on the Kenton Stingrays in a fun, friendly race starting at 6:30 Tuesday evening and it is all for a great cause. The cost of admission is by donation only. All proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio.
The American Red Cross is facing an emergency blood shortage and needs donors to give now and take steps to protect patient care. A steep decline in blood donations since the end of May has created a growing gap between supply and patient need. Every donation is critical to rebuilding the nation’s blood supply.
