Raising Arrows Ohio in Bellefontaine has a family in need of bicycles. They are looking for a 12-inch boys bicycle with training wheels and 14-inch girls, 13-inch girls and 20-inch girls’ bicycles. If you would like to donate one or more of the bicycles, contact them on their Facebook page or at 613 Hamilton Street in Bellefontaine. Raising Arrows Ohio serves foster and kinship families in Champaign, Clark, Hardin, Logan, Shelby, Union Counties.

Forest Police Department to Host Bicycle Registration Event

The Village of Forest Police Department will be hosting a bicycle registration event on Saturday, September 5 from noon until 3:00 pm at the rear of the police department, located at 211 Wet Lima Street in Forest. Hardin SWCD Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District will host a Conservation Contest on the first day of the Hardin County Fair September 8. It will be held in the Community Building on the fairgrounds in Kenton. Sign-in will begin at 10 a.m., judging will start at 10:30, but special consideration will be given for participants who are showing livestock that day. Cash prizes will be awarded.
