Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports
The Hardin County Engineer's Office announced a road opening and a road closing. As of today, County Road 100, between Township Roads 255 and 235 is now back open. Also starting today, Township Road 85 between State Route 701 and County Road 60 closed for 45 days. That is for a bridge replacement project.
A section of Washington Street in the City of Findlay is closed for most of today. A sewer lining project has Washington Street, between Hurd Avenue to Findlay Street, will be closed until 5:00 p.m. this evening. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes. The City of Findlay will release updates on information and schedules when it becomes available.
Amanda Twp – On July 14, 2026, at approximately 5:42 P.M., the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Deep Cut Rd and South Defiance Trail, Amanda Township, Allen County. A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for customers in the 700 and 800 blocks of South Johnson Street in the Village of Ada. According to information from village officials, if your water service was turned off during the water main break on Tuesday, your property is included in the advisory. The Hardin County Agricultural Society met Wednesday, July 8, 2026, for their July monthly board meeting. There were 15 directors and 9 guests present. Jack McBride, Board Vice President, called the meeting to order. Jacob Johnson from Drylane Construction stated the first livestock building will start to be built right after the ending of this year’s fair. Kenton City Council approved the next step in the water treatment plant improvement project at Monday evening's meeting. During the 13th regular session of the year, city leaders also shared updates on bridge repairs, downtown streetlights, GIS drone mapping, road patching, sidewalk improvements, and preparations for the upcoming roundabout project.
