Riverdale Night of the Arts Celebrates Student Talent

Riverdale Local Schools Riverdale School's Night of the Arts earlier this week was a huge success. The incredible talents of Riverdale students were celebrated at the event. The 5th Grade Band delivered a performance as past part of the festivities. The Auxiliary Gymnasium was completely transformed into an art gallery and was filled wall-to-wall with beautiful artwork created by all of the elementary students.

Hardin Northern Academic Awards Set for Tomorrow

Hardin Northern Local School District Academic Awards will be presented to Hardin Northern Junior and High School students tomorrow. It will begin at 12:30 Friday afternoon. Senior Breakfast and Graduation Practice, which are mandatory, will also take place Friday, and seniors must arrive by 7:55 tomorrow morning. Seniors are encouraged to arrive on time, and dress appropriately for the occasion.

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet Monday, May 18. It will start at 9:00 a.m. in their office in the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton. The meeting is being held to certify provisional ballots and for the Official Canvass of the May 5 Primary Election.  In addition, the board will conduct regular business, including approval of meeting minutes and approving bills.

Putnam County Crash Claims Life of Lima Man

A Lima man was killed, and a Bryan, Ohio man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning on State Route 15 in Putnam County. According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Dannie Davis IV, was driving west on 15, when he drove left of center. Gas Prices Level Off or Dip Slightly Across U.S. and Ohio

https://gasprices.aaa.com/ Average prices for a gallon of gasoline leveled off or fell slightly from last week. According to AAA, the average U.S. price is $4.51 a gallon today, a decrease of 3 cents since last Wednesday. The Ohio average is $4.65 a gallon, a decrease of 16 cents in one week.
