Riverdale Basketball Game Postponed

A Riverdale basketball game this week has been postponed. The Riverdale High School girl's game against Van Buren was scheduled for Thursday January 13. The game will now be played on Tuesday February 8. The Junior Varsity game will tip off at 6 that evening.

Make Up Date Set for Postponed Riverdale Basketball Games

A makeup date has been set for Riverdale basketball games. The Riverdale Boys and Girls games were scheduled for this evening but were postponed. They will now be played on Saturday January 22. The Boys will be at Vanlue. The Riverdale Girls will host Vanlue. Both games will tip off at 10am.

Three College Signing Events Scheduled at KHS

Kenton High School will host several college signing events this Thursday, January 13th. Brent Rader and Asher Bridenstine for Soccer, and Addy Modd for Track & Field will be signing.  They are all attending the University of Findlay to continue their academic and athletic careers. The events will start at 2:30 Thursday afternoon in the High School Library.

Riverdale Grad Received Great Midwest Athletic Conference Recognition

A Riverdale High School graduate, who is now a senior at Ashland University, made an impression upon the Great Midwest Athletic Conference last month. Carrol Pauley was named the Great Midwest women's Field Athlete of the Week.  Pauley, a two-time D-II All-American, moved into the No. 4 slot in the nation in the women's weight throw at Youngstown State. Ashland will begin the second semester in a tri-meet at Hillsdale with Findlay this Friday January 14.

Shawnee Defeats Kenton in Boys Bowling Match

The Kenton High School Boys Varsity Bowling team fell to Shawnee High School 2459-2318 on Wednesday. Devin Hastings led all bowlers with a 413 series and 244 high game and the Wildcats bowled the top 3 baker games but that was not enough as Shawnee defeated Kenton 2459 - 2318.Adam Hopkins added a 321. The JV's, only bowling with 4 bowlers, also lost to Shawnee. Next Match: January 4th @ Hillcrest Lanes vs. Liberty-Benton at 5:30pm
