Kenton Athletic Department Offering Sports Physicals

The Kenton Athletic Department, in partnership with OhioHealth Sports Medicine, will be offering Sports Physicals this (Thursday July 21) evening. It will start at 5:30 this evening in the Fieldhouse.  The cost of the physical will be $10 each.  You need to bring the printed Physical Form from your FinalForms account. All students planning to play a Fall Sport must have a current physical on-file ​by August 1st to participate in practice.

Upper Sandusky High School will be hosting a fall sport parent meeting on Monday, July 25. KHS Female Student-Athletes Offered Weightlifting Opportunity

A new weightlifting opportunity is being offered to female student-athletes at Kenton High School. Coach Sara Hoyt will be opening the weight-room on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am until noon starting Monday, June 6th.  She will be working specifically with female student-athletes.  The workouts each day will focus on a different muscle group, with core and agility work being done each day. ​ If you have questions, email the coach at: hoyt.sara@kentoncityschools.org

Polar Bear Golf Outing Scheduled for July 9

The Polar Bear Legacy Golf Outing has been scheduled for Saturday July 9. Registration for the four person scramble is at 7:30 that morning with a shotgun start at 8:30. The cost is $50 per person. HN Boys 4×4 Team Advances to State

The Hardin Northern boys 4x4 team of Wes Newton, Jonah Diller, Zeb Wilson and Carter Curtis placed 4th at Regionals to advance to the State meet. Zeb Wilson placed 5th in the 800 and secured an at-large spot at the State meet as well. Aidan Gatchell placed 8th in the 3200m run. Wes Newton placed 6th in the Pole Vault. (Regional results)

Send Off at Riverdale for Girls Relay Team Members Headed to State

There will be a send off celebration Thursday afternoon for the Riverdale girls relay team members who are headed off to State competition. They will be leaving for Columbus Thursday afternoon (June 2) at 3 and will run on Friday at Jesse Owens Stadium at 10:30am and 10:50am.  To advance to the finals they will have to be in the top 2 of their heat or one of the next 5 fastest times.
