Shawnee Defeats Kenton in Girls Soccer Action Tuesday

The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Soccer team fell to Shawnee High School 4-1 Tuesday evening. Kenton lost another hard fought battle last night to Shawnee. Kenton got on the board first with a goal from Abi Temple and Addison Modd assist. The Lady Wildcats could not keep Shawnee out of the net giving up 2 in the first half and 2 more in the second. Kenton plays its last home game this Saturday taking on Galion at 1pm.

St Mary’s Defeats Kenton On Homecoming

The St. Marys Roughriders spoiled homecoming at Robinson Field Friday, downing the Kenton Wildcats 48-7 in Western Buckeye League football action Friday. The Roughriders are now 5-2 overall and 4-2 in the league while the Wildcats slip to 0-7 overall and 0-6 in the WBL. Kaylee Adams was named Kenton’s homecoming queen, and Grady Kleman-Beazley was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
