State-ranked Bluffton slipped past Kenton 2-0 in boys soccer action Thursday at Merold Field. Shawnee defeated Kenton 156-184 in Boys Varsity Golf Thursday. Kenton Seniors Max Haushalter, Noah Ketcham, and Gunnar Stout played their final home match tonight at Veterans Memorial Park Golf Club as the team hosted Shawnee. Haushalter was low man for the team shooting a (45). Ketcham and Stout both finished with (46) and Stone followed with a (47).

The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Tennis team fell to Van Wert High School 5-0 on Thursday. The Wildcats dropped their last WBL match of the season. Grace Collins mounted a come back in the second set but then dropped the third. Kenton travels to Upper Sandusky on Tuesday.

Ridgemont Football Team Returns to the Field Friday Night

The Ridgemont football team will return to the field Friday night. After being forced to cancel last Friday's game, Athletic Director Shawn Smith announced football is back this week. Practice resumed this past Monday for any player who was not quarantined. The Golden Gophers will travel to Fayettesville-Perry to take on the Rockets. Kick-off is at 7 Friday evening.
