The Kenton High School Boys Varsity Soccer was defeated by to Shawnee High School 4-1 Thursday. The Wildcats are now 6-2-6 (3-1-4 WBL). Shawnee opened up a 3-0 lead 15 minutes into the contest. Brent Rader scored the lone goal for the Wildcats and Devin Miller recorded 2 saves in goal. The JV Cats fell 4-0 and are now 4-6-1 (1-5-1 WBL). Kenton 8th Grade Volleyball Team Defeats W-G

The Kenton Girls 8th Grade Volleyball beat Waynesfield-Goshen High School 2-0 Thursday. The Wildcats used some strong serving and defense to win their last game at Kenton Middle School. They will now travel to Bath on Saturday for the WBL tournament. The first match begins at 10:00 am vs. St Marys. The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Volleyball team fell to Shawnee High School 3-0 on Thursday. The Lady Wildcats put up a hard fought battle against Shawnee last night, 16-25, 19-25, 22-25. Shawnee Defeats Kenton in Girls Soccer Action Tuesday

The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Soccer team fell to Shawnee High School 4-1 Tuesday evening. Kenton lost another hard fought battle last night to Shawnee. Kenton got on the board first with a goal from Abi Temple and Addison Modd assist. The Lady Wildcats could not keep Shawnee out of the net giving up 2 in the first half and 2 more in the second. Kenton plays its last home game this Saturday taking on Galion at 1pm.

St Mary’s Defeats Kenton On Homecoming

The St. Marys Roughriders spoiled homecoming at Robinson Field Friday, downing the Kenton Wildcats 48-7 in Western Buckeye League football action Friday. The Roughriders are now 5-2 overall and 4-2 in the league while the Wildcats slip to 0-7 overall and 0-6 in the WBL. Kaylee Adams was named Kenton’s homecoming queen, and Grady Kleman-Beazley was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
