Ridgemont Football Team Returns to the Field Friday Night

The Ridgemont football team will return to the field Friday night. After being forced to cancel last Friday's game, Athletic Director Shawn Smith announced football is back this week. Practice resumed this past Monday for any player who was not quarantined. The Golden Gophers will travel to Fayettesville-Perry to take on the Rockets. Kick-off is at 7 Friday evening.

Kenton Ties Celina in Boys Soccer Game

Kenton traveled to Celina and battled to a 1-1 draw in Boys Soccer Action Tuesday night. The Cats moved to 4-0-3 (1-0-2 WBL) on the season. Celina struck first about 12 minutes into the contest for a 1-0 lead. Kenton struck back when Trent Yoder put in a rebound off a free kick to make it 1-1. St. Marys Tops Kenton in 8th Grade Volleyball Match

The Kenton Girls 8th Grade Volleyball fell to St. Marys Memorial High School 2-0 on Tuesday. The Wildcats got off to a slow start losing the 1st set 7-25 but bounced back in set 2 to get to 23-24 before losing the final point. The next match will be Thursday September 16 with Indian Lake.

Basketball Open Gym at HN Tonight

There will a basketball open gym tonight (September 14) at Hardin Northern. That will be held from 8 until 9 this evening at the Junior High Gym. It is for students in grades 7-12 who do not play football.

Kenton Beats HN in Volleyball Game on Monday

The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Hardin Northern High School 3-1 on Monday. The Lady Cats won in 4 sets, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-16 Chloe Pleasant was busy receiving 17 and digging 28 while Brynn Butler added 25 digs and 12 receptions. Sadie Larrabee string night at the nets, 17 kills and 2 blocks. Macee Heckathorn putting down 7 kills and 2 blocks. Complete team effort for the win.
