The Ridgemont football team will return to the field Friday night. After being forced to cancel last Friday's game, Athletic Director Shawn Smith announced football is back this week. Practice resumed this past Monday for any player who was not quarantined. The Golden Gophers will travel to Fayettesville-Perry to take on the Rockets. Kick-off is at 7 Friday evening.
Hardin Northern basketball open gym has been cancelled for today (Thursday September 16.) There will be open morning shooting Friday. It will start at 7 Friday morning.
The Upper Sandusky Middle School football game at Wynford on Tuesday, September 21, 5:30 p.m. will now be 8th grade only. That is due to low numbers at Wynford. The 7th grade game has been cancelled that day.

The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Tennis team fell to River Valley High School 4-1Wednesday. Grace Collins was the loan winner for the Wildcats at first singles. Kenton host Van Wert today (Thursday) for Senior Night.
Kenton traveled to Celina and battled to a 1-1 draw in Boys Soccer Action Tuesday night. The Cats moved to 4-0-3 (1-0-2 WBL) on the season. Celina struck first about 12 minutes into the contest for a 1-0 lead. Kenton struck back when Trent Yoder put in a rebound off a free kick to make it 1-1. The Kenton Girls 8th Grade Volleyball fell to St. Marys Memorial High School 2-0 on Tuesday. The Wildcats got off to a slow start losing the 1st set 7-25 but bounced back in set 2 to get to 23-24 before losing the final point. The next match will be Thursday September 16 with Indian Lake.
There will a basketball open gym tonight (September 14) at Hardin Northern. That will be held from 8 until 9 this evening at the Junior High Gym. It is for students in grades 7-12 who do not play football.
The Kenton High School Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Hardin Northern High School 3-1 on Monday. The Lady Cats won in 4 sets, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-16 Chloe Pleasant was busy receiving 17 and digging 28 while Brynn Butler added 25 digs and 12 receptions. Sadie Larrabee string night at the nets, 17 kills and 2 blocks. Macee Heckathorn putting down 7 kills and 2 blocks. Complete team effort for the win.
