2021 Riverdale Community Lions Club Golf Scramble Attracts 14 Teams

The Riverdale Community Lions Golf Scramble after being postponed due to heavy rains was held July 24, 2021, at Lincoln Hills Golf Course in Upper Sandusky. ADA — A school record 126 Ohio Northern student/athletes were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in the 23 fall, winter and spring sports for 2020-21. Five programs had 10 or more student/athletes receive the award, led by football with 15. Forms Due Friday for Girls Attending Hardin Northern Basketball Skills Camp

Forms for the Hardin Northern Girls Basketball Skills Camp are due Friday May 21. The camp for students entering first through 6th grade during the 2021-2022 school year. Fundamental basketball skills will be taught by the Hardin Northern High School coaching staff and players. Nine Ohio Northern student/athletes were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in football for 2020-21 in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches. Among those receiving the honor was Chase Rose, a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School He is now a two-time All-Conference honoree at receiver after being named Second Team as a junior in 2019. Kenton Falls to Shawnee in Varsity Baseball

Shawnee defeated Kenton 5-0 in Varsity Baseball action on Tuesday. The game was 1-0 heading into the 5th and the Indians scored 2 runs before adding 2 additional runs in the 6th. Jarron Willoby gave up 2 earned runs while scattering 9 hits and striking out 7 for the Wildcats. The Wildcats managed 3 hits on the night with Kyle Thrush, Grady Baum, and Willoby all recording singles. Kenton returns to action Thursday against Riverdale.
