Wildcats Trounce Elida 35-15, Grab Share Of WBL Title

The Kenton Wildcats clinched a share of the Western Buckeye League title by trouncing Elida 35-15 Friday at Kraft Stadium. The Wildcats improve to 8-2 overall and 8-1 in the league and share the WBL title with Wapakoneta. Elida finishes 0-10 overall and 0-9 in the league. Jacob Eversole caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Blaine Huston with 9.8 seconds left to give the Kenton Wildcats a 14-9 victory over the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans Friday at Robinson Field. Kenton’s defense was too much for Shawnee as the Wildcats blanked the Indians 28-0 in Western Buckeye League play Friday at Robinson Field. The Indians (3-5 overall, 2-5 WBL) were held to 107 yards of offense. Kenton’s defense forced five three-and-outs, held the Indians to 2-of-11 on third-down tries and caused three turnovers.
