Kenton Falls to St. Marys in WBL Volleyball Match

The Kenton Lady Cats dropped their WBL volleyball match to St. Marys in straight sets 11-25, 11-25, and 12-25. The Lady Cats fought hard throughout the entire match, but were just unable to get their footing in their third match of the week. The JV and Freshman teams also dropped their matches to St. Marys in straight sets.

Riverdale Defeats Upper Sandusky in Girls Soccer

Riverdale defeated Upper Sandusky 6-1 in girls soccer Thursday. Match notes: .Regular season North Central Ohio Soccer Association match. Goal notes: .On Upper Sandusky's goal, Riley Messersmith was fouled in the penalty area from behind by a Riverdale defender. Messersmith converted her own penalty kick for the goal. Next match: Upper Sandusky is home vs. Galion at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for its annual Kick for the Cure match.

Elida Football Coach Resigns

OHSAA Releases First Weekly Football Computer Ratings

The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the first official weekly football computer ratings Tuesday afternoon.    The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday beginning in the fifth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, November 3, when 224 schools (top 8 in each region) will officially qualify for the playoffs.    In Division IV Region 16, Kenton is ranked at number 10.   The Cats take on Wapakoneta this Friday night.   The […]

Kenton Boys Soccer Team Shuts Down Van Wert

Kenton recorded its 7th shutout on the season and improved to 7-2-3 (3-1-2 WBL) after defeating Van Wert 5-0. The Wildcats struck early in the first half on a corner kick by Reed Cook that found the head of Bryce Ellis for a 1-0 lead. That was the lone goal of the first half. The Kenton Lady Cats fought hard on their annual Pink Out Night and defeated Ridgemont in straight sets 25-21, 25-21, and 25-17. Leading the way for the Lady Cats was Lindsey Smith with 11kills, 2 blocks, and 4 aces. Ben Logan Boys Golf Team Ends Season in Heartbreaking Fashion

The Ben Logan boys golf team finished their season in heartbreak fashion Tuesday by tying for the final spot and loosing the tiebreaker. Fifteen teams started the day with hopes of moving on. Happy Homecoming For Wildcats

It was a happy homecoming Friday for the Kenton Wildcats as they defeated Defiance 42-14 in Western Buckeye League play at Robinson Field. With it’s third straight win, Kenton improves to 3-1 overall and sits in a three-way tie for first in the WBL with a 3-0 league mark. Defiance falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the WBL. Gen. Murray Busy in Cleveland This Weekend

Kenton High School graduate Gen. Mike Murray will be having a busy weekend in Cleveland. Gen. Murray will throw out the first pitch at the Cleveland Indians game Saturday night at Progressive Field. The Indians take on the Philadelphia Phillies. He will then do the coin toss before the Cleveland Browns game Sunday night. The Browns host the Los Angeles Rams in the prime time game of the week.
