Kenton-Hardin Health Department Seeking Feedback From Community for Future Planning

Logan County History Center Celebrates Indian Lake History
Photo: Logan County History Center The Logan County History Center celebrated Indian Lake history with a “Salute to Indian Lake” open house on earlier this year in honor of the 100th anniversary of the opening of Sandy Beach Amusement in1924. Many of the exhibits can still be seen throughout the Museum. They highlight the amusement park and other aspects of the Indian Lake area’s history. The museum is located at 521 East Columbus Avenue in Bellefontaine.
23/24 KMS and KHS Yearbooks Available for Pick Up
The 2023/24 Kenton Middle School and Kenton High School yearbooks are available for pick up. If you purchased one, they can be picked up during the open house from 6 until 8pm. They will be in Room 202 at the high school.
Lima Man Arrested After Shooting in Allen County on Wednesday
A 20-year-old Lima man was arrested after a shooting in that city Wednesday morning. According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of North West Strret in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, one victim suffering from two gunshot wounds was located and transported to Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center. Ben Logan Holding College 101 Event
Benjamin Logan is hosting a College 101 event on December 20. The in person event will start at 10:30 that morning in the high school auditorium. Any recent graduate from the last four years is invited to be on the committee. They will answer the questions of current high school juniors and seniors about their experience with college. Tonight, Kenton visted the Ben Logan Raiders in boys basketball. Despite trailing behind the Raiders for the first quarter, Kenton was able to find their grove and retake the lead with a finale score of 57-36 Kenton.
