Jordy Martin Named Northwest OSSCA Assistant Coach of the Year

Kenton boys soccer assistant coach Jordy Martin earned the Division IV Assistant Coach of the Year title from the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association. Martin played a key role in guiding the Wildcats to a 10-5-5 record this season. The recognition extended beyond Martin, as Micah Bowman and Josh Rich secured spots on the All-District first team, while Marlon Lopez and Gus Wingfield were honored with second-team selections.

It was a successful day for Addi Manns and Wade Manns at the OHSAA Division III State Cross Country Championships at Fortress Obetz. Addi secured an impressive 6th place finish with a time of 18:32.06 in her third and final appearance at the State Meet. Ridgemont Gets Eight NWCC All-Conference Nods

H/T Ridgemont Athletics After a record-setting 2025, the Ridgemont football program had eight athletes receive NWCC honors. Record-breaking running back Mason Howard and defensive back Kody Kiser earned first team NWCC honors, while offensive linemen Kaine Ruppright and Luke Stacklin, who paved the way for Howard, secured spots on the second team along with linebacker Maverick Dawson. The group was rounded out by Jordan Olsen, Bryce Mendenhall, and Jaxon Stuck, who received honorable mentions.
