Kenton 8th grade boys ran into a buzz saw Thursday night when they met Lima Shawnee. Their coach mentioned prior to the game they were 0-9 from the 3 point line in their first game but they torched our nets making 6. Kenton girls basketball win their WBL opener tonight by a score of 65-47. The Lady Cats were led by Sid Payne with 18 points. Macee Heckathorn scored 15 points while Brylee Bostelman had 11 and Sadie Larabee finished with 10 points. The Kenton Wildcats rolled a school record 1995 en route to their victory over Indian Lake. Kenton fell behind by 44 pins after the 1st individual games, 696 - 740. The Kenton 8th grade boys basketball team fell to Wapak to open the season 35-30. It was not due to lack of effort.
