2024 Hardin County Fair Book Has Been Finalized

The 2024 Hardin County Fair Book has been finalized.  It is available in digital form now on the Hardin County Fair website. It has been submitted to the printer, however print books will have limited copies. Only rules and the open-class section will be available in print. Hardin County OSU Extension Office Coordinating Broiler Chick Purchases for 4-H and FFA Members

The OSU Extension Office is coordinating a broiler chick purchase for 4-H and FFA members carrying the Broiler/Market Chicken Project. The minimum order is 10 chicks per one exhibitor.   The final order day will be May 23rd with chick delivery on July 17th or 18th.  Pick up will happen from 11am-2pm at the Hardin County Fair Grandstands. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine Announces $3 million in Funding for 42 Local Law Enforcement Agencies

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced $3 million in funding for 42 local law enforcement agencies to help their drug task forces enforce the state’s drug laws and combat illegal drug activity. 2nd Annual Frankie Castle Memorial Tournament Will be Held May 24th in Alger

The second annual Frankie Castle Memorial Tournament will be held starting Friday, May 24th at the Alger Park. The Home Run Derby will start at 5pm on May 24th. The Men's softball tournament starts at 8am, May 25th and a Cornhole Tournament starts at 11am that morning. Kids bounce houses will be set up, and you can cheer on the Alger and Roundhead T-Ball teams during the event.

$37,000 Total in Cash Found in Two Business Restrooms in Marysville

Less than a week after money was found in a movie theater in Marysville, a sum of money was found at a fast food restaurant in that city. According to the Marysville Police Division, $25,000 was found in the restroom at Avalon Theater on April 27, then on May 2, $12,000 was found in the restroom at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Riverdale Students and Faculty Raise Money for Upper Sandusky Kindergarten Student

Students and faculty from Riverdale Schools came together recently to help a kindergarten student from Upper Sandusky Schools.  Tanner was involved in an accident and lost his lower leg. The Riverdale community wanted to help raise monetary donations for Tanner and his family.  The staff and students were welcomed to wear Hats for Tanner for a donation and were able to provide just over $543 in donations to the family.

USV Students Paint and Refresh Old Dugouts

Students in the CBI classes at Upper Scioto Valley School District worked hard recently to paint and refresh their old dugouts.  The students were able to spend their time refreshing and giving new life to the dugouts.
