COLUMBUS, Ohio—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that a Presidential Disaster Declaration has been issued for the FEMA Individual Assistance Program as a result of tornadoes on March 14, 2024.  The Presidential Disaster Declaration was issued for Auglaize, Crawford, Darke, Delaware, Hancock, Licking, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Richland, and Union counties. The month of May is National Stroke Awareness Month. The American Stroke Association says you can use the letters in FAST to spot a stroke. F stands for Face Drooping.  A is for Arm Weakness. S stands for Speech Difficulty and T is for time to call 9-1-1. A stroke is an emergency, and every minute counts, so call 9-1-1 immediately and note the time when any of the symptoms first appeared.
