Ohio Northern University Partners with BSN Sports and Nike

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Athletics announced that it has entered into a five-year partnership with NIKE through BSN SPORTS. The agreement, which will commence on July 1, 2019, is part of BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select program, which aims to make BSN SPORTS a one-stop provider for all collegiate athletic, intramural, club and staff apparel and equipment to all NCAA Division I, Division II and Division II schools as well as NJCAA and NAIA schools. HN FFA Member Attend State Convention in Columbus

20 members from the Hardin Northern FFA Chapter attended State FFA Convention earlier this month in Columbus.   The members made the trip along with Advisor, Emily Overs and Chaperones, Andy and Darlene Wilson.   The group visited COSI for a morning adventure. Sign Ups Being Taken for Ridgemont Library Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Sign-up at the Ridgemont Public Library starts this Thursday.   Sign up at either the Mt. Victory or Ridgeway locations.   3 program levels are offered.   The 1st level is Toddler time for birth to Pre-K, the 2nd level is for kids entering into Kindergarten through 3rd grade, the 3rd level is the Tween program for kids entering 4th through 6th grade.   Sign up will continue through May, and programming starts June 5.

2019 Wine and Chocolate Walk to be Held in Mt. Victory

The 2019 Wine and Chocolate Walk has changed locations.   The event will be held Friday June 14 from 5 until 8pm in Mt. Victory.   The event will include a paint and sip and food.   Three wineries, Bokes Creek, Rose Acres and Bear Vine have been added.   For ticket information, contact the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance.

Three Blood Drives Remain in May

Donors of all blood types are urged to give now to help meet the needs of trauma patients and others with serious medical conditions.   Three more blood drives are scheduled for May   There are two on May 20, from 11:30a-5:30pm at Visiting Nurses and Hospice in Ada and noon until 6 at First Baptist Church in Kenton.   The last one is on May 23 from noon until 6 at the Moose Lodge in Kenton.   You can […]

Crash Reported on County Road 160 This Morning

Emergency crews were dispatched to an accident this morning on County 160 at County 195.   Scanner traffic indicated a vehicle encountered water on the roadway and ended up off the road where it struck a tree.   No other information is available at this time.

KFD Flowing Hydrants in Northwest Section of Kenton

The Kenton Fire Department will be flowing hydrants in the northwest section of Kenton today.   For residents in that area, that could mean some discolored water, which is normal during the process.   Officials at the department reminded residents that they should run an empty load of laundry in their washer to help clear up the system.
