April 2019 Fourth Highest Month for New Business Filings in Ohio

COLUMBUS – Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose today announced 12,385 new entities filed to do business in Ohio in April. This is the fourth highest monthly total in state history behind March 2019, April 2018, and March 2017, respectively. Dayton Driver Cited After Tuesday Night Crash

A Dayton woman was cited following a two vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday night on County Road 106 at State Route 309.   According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle operated by Candie Belanich struck the rear of a vehicle being operated by Faith Sparks, of Kenton.   Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.   Both drivers, and occupants in the vehicles refused treatment.   BKP and the Kenton Fire […]

Hardin County 9-1-1 Achieves State of Ohio Compliance

Hardin County is officially in total compliance with the standards set forth by the State of Ohio 9-1-1 Program Office.   According to a release, the communications staff at the Hardin County Sheriff's Office has been working with the office to achieve compliance for 2019.   Every Public Safety Answering Point or 9-1-1 call center is required to meet 14 standards ranging from staffing, 9-1-1 phone answering times, emergency power as well educational standards for all dispatching staff.   The […]

Riverdale Holds Academic Awards Night

Ada Police and Village Facility Renovation Project Progressing

Ridgemont’s Got Talent Event Coming Friday Evening

Ridgemont's Got Talent will take place Friday evening (May 17) at the Ridgemont School Commons.   The night will feature the talents of Ridgemont High School students and is hosted by Tanna Brown and Jackson Reppart.   A spaghetti dinner will be served for a nominal cost and will benefit the Ridgemont Music Boosters.   Food will be served starting at 6:15. The show begins at 6:30 with free admission and free parking.

Bellefontaine Police Department Begins Bike Patrols

The Bellefontaine Police Department's Bike Patrol Unit began patrolling neighborhoods, business districts, and parks this week. Specially trained Bike Patrol Officers work to provide additional support during the warmer months. Bicycles have proven effective for stealth, surveillance, and traffic enforcement.
