Kenton City Council is scheduled to meet tonight.   Cheryl Kellogg has requested time to speak about the 2020 census presentation.   Several ordinances and resolutions will be on first reading tonight as well.   The 9th regular session of the year will start at 7 this evening in the Kenton City Building.

Hardin Hills Observing National Nursing Home Week

Junior Fair Entries for 2019 Hardin County Fair Being Accepted

KENTON-Hardin Co. Soroptimist International announced the Club 250 winners for weeks 23 and 24.   Amy Alt-Coan and Jessica Hinson will each receive $100.   Club 250 is a fundraiser that helps to award scholarships to local women and girls.

Average Price of Gas in Hardin County Drops Slightly

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County dropped a few cents from last week.   AAA reported that the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas is $2.64 today, compared to $2.67 from last week.   Allen County has the cheapest price in our region to start the week at $2.59.   Wyandot and Marion Counties have the most expensive average at $2.69 per gallon.   The statewide average fell 14 cents per gallon […]

GEMS Program Offered to Middle School and High School Students

Heartbeat of Hardin County will be offering a summer GEMS Program. GEMS is self-esteem/mentoring program open to youth entering the 7th grade in the fall to 12th graders. Local Middle School Students Win $13,500 in Scholarships at Math Challenge

(Marion) Middle school students from eight area schools came to the Marion Campus to test their math prowess in the Annual Math Challenge, hosted by The Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College.
