Kenton Man Arrested on Warrant; Facing Drug Charges

A Kenton man is facing drug charges after being arrested Tuesday afternoon.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers located 51 year old Terry Holbrook hiding in a closest at a residence in the 500 block of West Lima Street.   Holbrook was taken into custody on warrants for his arrest.   During a search, police allegedly found that Holbrook was in possession of one crack cocaine rock, five orange pills and a crack pipe.   […]

Waterworks Ball Park Concession Stand Vandalized

The concession stand at the Waterworks Ball Park in Kenton was vandalized sometime since Monday night.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, it was discovered that someone used a baseball bat to damage the door locks on the concession stand. KMS 7th Graders Come Up Short Against Elgin in Baseball Action

Even though the Kenton Middle School 7th grade baseball team took an early lead and managed eight hits against Elgin Tuesday night, they couldn't hold it together and eventually lost the game 5-16. Elgin's pitchers and defense were able to keep Kenton from scoring with eleven strike outs and walking only three. Ohio Attorney General’s Office Awards Grants for Purchase of Body Armor

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced that more than 300 local law enforcement agencies across the state are now participating in the Ohio Law Enforcement Body Armor Program. The program, administered by the attorney general’s office since August 2018, is funded by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and awards grants totaling up to $40,000 to each agency.
