Opioid Prescribing in Ohio Down 325 Million Doses in 2018

The number of prescription opioids dispensed to Ohioans declined for the sixth consecutive year in 2018, according to a newly released report from the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy’s Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System (OARRS). From 2012 to 2018, the total number of opioids dispensed to Ohio patients decreased by 325 million doses or 41 percent. Minor Suspected of Raping Girl and Boy

A sex offense was reported to Kenton police over the weekend.   According to the report, a 5 year old Mt. Four Cited Following Weekend Disturbance

Four Kenton residents were cited following a disturbance Sunday afternoon.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Carroll Street to investigate a fight in the front yard.   Officers issued citations to: 42 year old Kenneth Johnson 38 year old Daniel Johnson 31 year old Ashley Hudson   43 year old Jonathan Steele. All were charged with disorderly conduct.

Unoccupied Building Damaged by Fire in Wyandot County

Gas Prices Jump 11 Cents from Last Monday

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County jumped 11 cents from last Monday   AAA reported the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas was $2.33 today, compared to last Monday's $2.22.   That was the cheapest price in our region to start the week.   The most expensive is in Union County at $2.49 a gallon.   The statewide average is at $2.47 a gallon, and the nationwide average stands at $2.48 a […]
