KMS Relay Team Sets School Record

Kenton Middle School 4 x 400 team set a new Kenton MS record at Riverdale on April 19, 2023. The team of Alex Miller, Gary Phipps, Gustin Wingfield , and Gavin Sealscott beat the record set in 2008 with their time of 3.54.91. Kenton Girl’s Lemonade Stand a Big Success

A Kenton girl's work to raise money for a good cause paid off. Steena Dudek set up a stand last week selling lemonade and cookies to the public. The stand was set up at the Kenton Church of the Nazarene, and after a day of sales, a total of just over $4500 was raised. The proceeds will go to the Kenton City Schools lunch program. Volunteers Sought for Forest Clean-Up Day

A town-wide clean-up day has been scheduled for June 17 in the Village of Forest. Volunteers are needed from 10am until 1 that afternoon.   They will be picking up trash around the entire town.   The Village will be providing gloves and trash bags.   If you are able to volunteer your time and efforts, contact the village office.

Auditions for Ada Varsity Singers Next Week

Varsity Singers auditions at the Ada High School are taking place next week. Vocal auditions are on April 24 and 25. Dance auditions are taking place April 26 from 7 until 9pm. Also at the school, Ada's production of Matilda is this weekend. Performances are scheduled for tonight (April 21), Saturday (April 22) and Sunday (April 23). Tickets are $5 each.
