Minimal Damage Occurs After Fire on CR 155

A minor fire was handled by the Kenton Fire Department Tuesday evening. According to information from the department, mulch at a residence in the 14,000 block of County Road 155 caught on fire. The flame spread up the side of the house but was extinguished quickly and resulted in minimal damage. Firefighters were on the scene for a short time.

KHS Cheerleading Squad Attends Cheer Camp

The Kenton High School Cheerleading Squad attended Universal Cheerleaders Association Cheer Camp this past weekend. The UCA Cheer Camp was held at Bowling Green State University.   While there, the squad learned new sideline chants, cheers and camp dances.   The squad received several honors including a superior rating, most improved and school tradition award.

North Baltimore Man Arrested in Findlay

A North Baltimore man was arrested Monday after an incident in Findlay. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched at 4:17 Monday afternoon to S & s Landscaping to investigate a possible armed and suicidal subject at the business. Sheriff Keith Everhart is announcing that the Ohio Department of Administrative Services has issued the findings of its 2022 Support and Compliance Review of the Hardin County Central Dispatch 9-1-1 system. Road Closing Announced by Engineer’s Office

A road closing was announced today by the Hardin County Engineer's Office. Jackson Township Road 195, between County Road 20 and Township Road 22, closed starting today for a bridge replacement project. The road is expected to be closed for 6-8 weeks.
