2024 Awards Day Held at Kenton High School

Edison Klinger at the podium A total of $237,050 was awarded to the students during the event on Wednesday. 32 students applied for Dollars for Scholarships, 37 students applied for Local Scholarships and The Kenton Excellence for Education Scholarships, 35 students applied for the R.E. & Joan Allen Scholarships. Marion Woman Killed in Crash Late Tuesday Night

A Marion woman was killed in a crash that occurred at just before midnight Tuesday night on State Route 95 in Marion County. According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 38 year old Shawna Kelson lost control of her vehicle while driving south on 95. Ada Man Arrested in Kenton Tuesday Evening

An Ada man was arrested after an incident in Kenton Tuesday evening. According to information from the Kenton Police Department's Daily Log Sheet, officers were dispatched to an apartment on Meadow Lane at around 6:45 Tuesday evening to investigate a call about an unwanted person. 36 year old James Helton was arrested. He is being held in the Multi County Jail on a charge of burglary.
