Five-Vehicle Crash in Richland County Kills Two and Injures Five

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Mansfield Post is investigating a five-vehicle fatal crash that occurred yesterday at 10:49 p.m. on Interstate 71 near milepost 159 in Perry Township. HN’s Polar Bear Showcase Set for May 7

Kenton Lions Participate in Roadside Clean-Up

The Kenton Lions Club held its first service activity of the year this past Sunday, April 28. Several members participated in a roadside clean-up on the first two miles of Ohio 309 West.  Lions Kirk Cameron, Dave Dulin, Bill Keller, Todd Oates, Gary Whitmer were involved in the clean-up. Non-Profits Encouraged to Apply for General Traffic Safety Grants

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Ohio Traffic Safety Office (OTSO) is seeking grant proposals from non-profit organizations and government agencies to reduce traffic fatalities in their communities. Hardin County Fair Royalty Being Accepted

Applications are still being accepted for Hardin County Fair Royalty.  Contestants must be a senior in the 2024-25 school year and a current good-standing member of a Hardin County Junior Fair Organization.  Applicants can learn more and apply at: hardincountyfair.org/royalty The crowning of the fair royalty will take place on Tuesday evening of the Hardin County Fair in front of the grandstand.

Ada Lions Club Mulch Sale Starts May 4

The Ada Lions Club will be selling mulch by the scoop, with proceeds going to the Ada High School Scholarship Program. The sale starts this Saturday May 4th and will continue each Saturday through June 1st from 8 A.M. until 2 P.M by calling 419-634-5626 or 419-303-5987 to place an order. Black or brown mulch is $40 per scoop. Delivery in Ada is $20 and outside Ada is $30. The proceeds go to the Ada High School Scholarship Program.

Items Stolen from Lakeview Area Storage Units Being Held at LCSO

The Logan County Sheriff's Office has a number of items that were recovered from recent thefts that occurred from storage units in the Lakeview area.  If you recently had items taken, contact Detective McIntire at (937) 592-5731.  From there, he will set up a time for you to come identify your belongings.
