Vandalism Forces Temporary Closure of Old Field Beach Restroom at Indian Lake State Park

Photo: Indian Lake State Park Facebook Indian Lake State Park announced earlier this morning that the restroom at Old Field Beach is currently closed. According to information the State Park's Facebook page, the closure is due to vandalism. Pictures posted showed the extent of damage. The restroom will be temporarily closed for repairs.  They will update the public when the repairs are made and the restroom is back open.

A rural Kenton man was arrested Tuesday on a 16 count indictment for sexual offenses involving a minor. 56 year old Rickie Lee Stephens is being held in the Multi County Jail on 13 counts of public indecency and one count each of attempted gross sexual imposition, compelling prostitution and importuning. A Kenton man was arrested Tuesday night after a domestic incident was reported. According to the Kenton Police Department report, the victim arrived at the department at just before 10 Tuesday night to report the incident. After an investigation, 29-year-old John Puckett was arrested. He is being held in the Multi-County Jail on charges of domestic violence and unlawful restraint. There were no injuries.
