Kenton Officers Serve Up Smiles and Lemonade for a Great Cause

Photo: Kenton Police Department The Kenton Police Department's Heart Behind the Badge lemonade stand that was set up during Market on Main Saturday was a success. Officers traded sirens for smiles and showed up with pitchers in hand. They raised over $500, which will be used for their annual 'Shop with a Cop' event. The Kenton Police Department thanked everyone who helped support the event.

Sweet Success: Lewis Family McDonald’s Cookie Initiative Brings in Over $1,000 for United Way of Hardin County

The United Way of Hardin County recently thanked the Lewis Family McDonald's for their support and all of the community who purchased cookies for their recent fundraiser. McDonald's conducted the Cookies for a Cause initiative.  From May 19th through May 31, 100% of the proceeds from cookie sales went to the United Way of Hardin County. The participating Lewis Family McDonald's locations were in Ada and Kenton. The program raised over $1,000 for the United Way of Hardin County.
