Kenton Rotarian Gerald Pfister welcomed Ryan Kennedy, a 22-year veteran with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, who provided an update on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) at a recent meeting. CWD is a fatal neurological illness affecting deer, elk, and related species. Caused by misfolded proteins called prions, CWD is spread through contact with infected animals or contaminated environments and has no cure. Alger Public Library to Host “Drummunity” Event Tomorrow

Vehicle and Amish Buggy Involved in Crash on SR 31 Near Mt. Victory

An injury accident occurred at just before 6:00 pm Tuesday evening on State Route 31, just south of Mt. Victory. According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, it involved a vehicle and an Amish buggy, but no names have been provided.
